Text to Text Feed by Mira Grant

         Feed by Mira Grant is a post-apocalyptic, zombie apocalypse like story. It is one of a kind mainly because it takes place about 20-30 years after the zombies first appear. It's very different seeing as in most zombie media the dead are an imminent threat while in this book they are more of just a minor nuisance. This series of books focuses on two sibling newscaster/bloggers who are currently following a presidential election.

         Feed was a very hard book to match and even right now there is not anything it is too terribly similar to, but that's what makes it special. It's a one of a kind book and the only thing I would be able to compare it to would be any other zombie book. It is truly impossible to compare it to anything for it is purely an original piece of writing.

        The only thing this could remind me of is any other zombie book like The Horde Rises or Dawn of the Apocalypse. While it is more of a "mature"(Crude Language) book, I definitely  suggest it to anyone who doesn't mind it because it is an amazing, once in a lifetime book.

     I am reading Feed by Mira Grant. It is a post apocalyptic, science fiction book, following the story of Georgia and Shaun Mason as they try to survive the zombie hordes. It is the first book in the Newsflesh trilogy. I have not read that much into the book but from what I can tell it will be full of action and excitement. It starts when Shaun provokes a zombie and starts a full on zombie chase. They escape them and meet up with their friend Buffy.

     I mainly connect to Shaun in this story. Its was hard to make a connection as I have never lived through an apocalypse but, i was able to connect with Shaun on the grounds that he has a bossy older sister. Shaun's older sister is named Georgia. Whenever he tries to do something fun/dangerous she always stops him. For example when he is poking a zombie with a hockey stick, she drags him away from it and makes him go get supplies.

     I have always been a big fan of the zombie genre and i think that anyone else like me would also love this book.
